Design brief for the Foxtrot or "F":
This fin has been designed with the following targets in mind:
·Good compromise for speed and lift of the two more extreme models Bravo and Echo, exactly same outline as E, but with a different section. It has a slightly rounder entry into the foil with the thickest point further forward, which makes it a bit easier to sail fast in rough conditions and is probably a bit more suitable for riders with a very "active" driving style with lots of pumping over the back foot in contrast to a smooth sailing style. The stall characteristics of the F in comparison to the E are a bit smoother or not as abrupt, but it will have a slightly lesser top speed and feel not quite as slippery. The tip of the F is made a tiny bit more powerful by increasing the thickness towards the tip by 1% or about 0.6mm. This will put the board a little sooner onto it's leeward rail, trim the nose up a bit and the rider will be able to feel the fin a bit more and drive a bit more off it.
·Good control even in overpowered conditions, due to its defined flex and curved outline concept, very predictable stall, easy to sail "on the edge"
·Intended range: 10-20kn - the F70 suits sails of around 10-12m^2
